a realistic hacking lab in Microsoft Azure that simulates an enterprise network with multiple VNETs and subnets, deliberately vulnerable Windows and Linux VMs, and segmented traffic using NSGs, route tables and a bastion jump host for safe administration. I integrated Azure Monitor and a Log Analytics workspace to collect telemetry and created alerts and dashboards to run detection exercises and tune alerting, balancing realism with cost by using smaller VMs and tuned log retention. The result is a repeatable, disposable red-team/blue-team environment that sharpened my cloud networking, access control, and incident-detection skills.
